The Caravan for Disability Freedom and Justice 2024
A collective of people with disabilities and allies are driving across America visiting a numbe of cities, including many important to our history. We will honor and celebrate people and places significant to our 100+ year struggle for freedom and justice. We will share their stories, raise awareness of current issues, and build a nation coalition to address these issues. Our goals are to shine a light on all that have gone before us, and well as, on current issues Americans with disabilities are facing. We want to connect people to this rich history of activism and advocacy with current national, regional, and local issues and share them success stories and tools necessary to create positive change.
